My name is Riana and I am a 34-year old book – and language lover from Pretoria, South Africa.

Books have played an important role in my life since a young age and I have been intrigued by the power of stories and reading ever since.

After school I studied music, completing my practical component in piano teaching. Currently I am teaching piano and Music Theory at a school for girls in Pretoria. For the past few years I have been studying part time in the field of languages and linguistics.

Books and reading have helped me through some tough times in my life. For me, reading is still is one of the best types of therapy I have ever come across. I am looking forward to sharing this ardour with other book enthusiasts out there!
